Representing Cheerleading at "Move It" Exhibition

Space City Zoo Cheerleaders have been asked to represent cheerleading at the "Move It" dance exhibition in London. This was an incredible experience for SCZ and a great honor to have been asked.  At 10:30 on Saturday on the main stage we  performed a smashing version of our event routine: with the most jaw-dropping stunts ever done by SCZ - driving the large crowd crazy!!

At 11:30 of the same day, Jessica (President and Head Coach / Choreographer) leaded the sold out cheerleading class of 260 people.

Black Kids' Music Video

Space City Zoo Cheerleaders  have been headhunted by JJ Productions to star in the Black Kid's music video "I'm not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you". Filming at Faircharm studios in South East London, SCZ Cheerleaders proved that they can work just as well in front of the camera than on a stage or competition mat. The filming went very smoothly, thanks to a great communication and collaboration  between the cheerleading team and the crew.

Space City Zoo was asked to perform at the prestigious Bobby Moore Sports Ball, organized by Cancer Research UK. We had a chance to perform on stage in front  of an A-list audience from whom received loud cheers and an overall extremely positive response.

Milkshake - Channel 5

The Zooper squad have once again taken a step closer to fame –
starring on a Channel Five children’s programme on called Milkshake.

Our aim of the day was to help
the three presenters meet
their latest challenge: to learn to cheerlead in a day. To achieve this
goal, we wanted to teach them three core elements
of cheerleading;
dance, jumps and most importantly stunts.

We gave them a gentle introduction by teaching a specially designed
‘Milkshake’ cheer, and
was followed by dance and stunting tutorials.
The final task was to put all their new found talent into action –
all three presenters had to perform a full routine in front of a live
audience at an American football game.

Innocent Village Fete, Regent's Park London, 5th August 2007

Space City Zoo was asked to perform and lead a workshop on the Village Green of the Innocent Village Fete.
Lovely sun, a big crowd and lots of little happy smiles looking up at us, eager to come play the happy game of stunting.

Space City Zoo were given a half-hour slot, where we did a 5 minute demonstration of our best skills, perform a 2 minute acrobatic routine, and  teach more than 50 children the basics of cheerleading stunts.

Overall, a glorious success!

Internet World Exhibition, Earl's Court London, 1st-3rd May 2007

Our first event consisted in trying to find an innovative way of getting attention for Red Snapper, a creative web agency based in SW London- The idea was to use group of cheerleaders to perform in front of the Red Snapper stand at the Internet World Exhibition, in order to turn a few heads towards the agency's direction. This proved to be a huge success in terms of impact: Red Snapper definitely got noticed and picked up a few extra leads thanks to the Zoo.
